12 December 2024: Building an Alliance for Inclusive Entrepreneurship – Sharing local experiences, fostering European solutions
Marking the launch of the Alliance, our first webinar on 12 December was organised by UNITEE and PLACE Network, and featured insights from civil society, academia and the European Commission.
Together, we discussed challenges and opportunities of building more inclusive entrepreneurial ecosystems. Dr Eva Kasperova (CREME, Aston University) shared research insights, Shawgi Ahmed (PLACE Network, FR), Manon Acke (SheDidIt, BE), Michelle Amoakoh (AiDiA, DE), and Iffat Rose Gill (CodeToChange, NL ) share insights from civil society initiatives promoting entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds, including migrants, women and the African diaspora in Germany.
Julien De Beys (DG EMPL) shared the perspective of the European Commission. The session was moderated by Vanessa Cotterell (UNITEE).
